Advantages Compared to Other 3D Printers (e.g., Kingroon KPS3, Prusa mini, Ender 3):
- 5-axis board: Lerdge-iX has a 5-axis board instead of a 4-axis board, allowing expansion for double Z-axis, two extruders, etc.
- TMC2226 drivers: Equipped with TMC2226, offering better performance than TMC2225 or other ordinary drivers used on Creality Ender 3, KPS3, and other printers.
- PEI magnetic platform: Easier to remove models than glass platforms (Ender 3) and more durable than magnetic film (Kingroon KPS3).
- Multiple interfaces: U disk, TF card, USB three interfaces for user-friendliness.
- Upgradable direct extruder: Can be upgraded to an all-metal dual-gears direct extruder, which is lighter and more durable than bulky, heavy, plastic direct extruders on some other printers.
- Unique features: Auto shutdown, one-key refueling, Z-axis fine-tuning, linear extrusion, auto fan, temperature protection.
- Price: Less than half or even a third of the price of the Prusa mini 3D printer.
Version Recommendation:
- Lerdge-iX 3D Printer KIT Version: For users who like mechanics and mods (shipped in parts, requires self-assembly).
- RTP Version: For users who want to quickly experience printing (pre-assembled, can be completed in a few steps).
Possible Questions:
- Q 1: How long does it take to assemble the Lerdge-iX?
- A: 3 to 8 hours, depending on individual hands-on ability.
- Q 2: Why isn’t the Lerdge-iX directly designed for direct extrusion?
- A: Bowden extrusion makes the print head flexible and prolongs its lifespan, considering most users seldom print flexible filaments like TPU.
- Q 3: Does Lerdge-iX support automatic leveling?
- A: Yes, but you need to purchase the auto-leveling sensor separately and install it yourself.
- Q 4: What do I need to know before buying this product?
- You need DIY assembly ability.
- Check the tutorial carefully on the official website before assembling and using.
- Refunds or returns due to assembly failure cannot be accepted. Confirm your DIY ability or choose the RTP version.
Delivery Form of Lerdge iX:
Lerdge iX 3D printers are shipped as separate parts, requiring self-assembly. The assembly difficulty is simplified, but individual assembly capabilities vary. You can read the assembly manual on the Lerdge website before buying. Assembling the printer yourself helps in understanding its operating structure, use, and maintenance, and provides a sense of accomplishment.
The price of the Lerdge iX is very close to the price of the Lerdge board and accessories. Therefore, refunds or returns due to assembly failure cannot be accepted.
Return Policy for Lerdge iX:
Lerdge iX is a DIY product; returns without reason or due to assembly failure cannot be accepted, as an opened and attempted assembly makes it unsaleable to other customers. The assembly steps are optimized, and detailed tutorials and customer support are provided to help solve any problems during assembly and use.
