Parents should rely on official information

The ministry has urged parents, guardians, students and school communities to rely on official announcements rather than social-media messages or unofficial circulars. The warning follows the circulation of a fabricated document that falsely announced a further three-week holiday. citeturn109167search0

What families should prepare for

As the new academic session begins, families may be reviewing school supplies, uniforms, learning materials, bags, devices and other everyday essentials. Buyers should compare specifications and total costs carefully and confirm delivery timing before purchasing items online, especially for time-sensitive school needs.

The GradeZO takeaway

The key message is simple: Federal Unity Colleges are expected to resume today, September 14, 2026, and families should follow verified information from the Federal Ministry of Education and their individual schools. citeturn109167search0turn109167search1
