How to Use the 2023 HP Laptop Computer

Getting Started

1. Remove the laptop from its packaging.
2. Connect the power adapter to the laptop and plug it into a power source.
3. Press the power button to turn on the laptop.

Setting Up Windows 11

1. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your language, region, and keyboard layout.
2. Connect to a Wi-Fi network by clicking on the network icon in the taskbar and selecting your network.
3. Enter your Wi-Fi network password, if prompted.
4. Sign in with a Microsoft account or create a new account, if needed.

6. Choose your privacy settings.
7. Wait for Windows 11 to finish setting up.

Exploring the Desktop

Shutting Down the Laptop

1. Save your work and close all open applications.
2. Click on the Start button and select “Power.”
3. Choose “Shut down” to turn off the laptop.
