These Referral Program Terms (“Terms”) govern your participation in GradeZOO’s referral program (“Program”). By participating, you (“Referrer” or “you”) agree to comply with these Terms and our Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility

Open to individuals aged 18+ (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) with a valid GradeZOO account.
Excludes employees, affiliates, or immediate family members of GradeZOO.
Void where prohibited by law.

2. Program Overview

How It Works:
1. Share your unique referral link/code (“Link”) with friends, family, or contacts.
2. When a new customer (“Referee”) uses your Link to make their first purchase, both you and the Referee earn rewards.
Valid Referral:
- Referee must be a new customer (no prior purchases or accounts with GradeZOO).
- Purchase must meet minimum spend requirements (if any).

3. Rewards

Referrer Rewards:
- Earn $20 store credit per qualified referral.
- Credits are issued after the Referee’s order is shipped and the return window expires (see Returns & Exchanges Policy).
Referee Rewards:
- Receive 10% off their first order (exclusions apply to industrial/custom products).
Reward Limits:
- Maximum $500 in store credit per calendar year.
- Credits expire 12 months from issuance.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

Use spam, fake accounts, bots, or misleading tactics to generate referrals.
Share Links on coupon/promo sites, paid ads, or unauthorized platforms.
Tamper with tracking systems or exploit technical vulnerabilities.
Refer yourself or household members using alternate accounts/emails.

5. Reward Redemption

Store Credit:
- Automatically applied to your GradeZOO account.
- Redeemable at checkout for eligible products (excludes industrial machinery rentals).
Non-Transferable: Credits cannot be sold, exchanged, or gifted.

6. Program Termination

By You: Opt out anytime by contacting support@gradezoo.com.
By GradeZOO:
- We may suspend/terminate your participation for violations, fraud, or program abuse.
- Reserve the right to modify, suspend, or end the Program with 30 days’ notice.

7. Disclaimers

Tax Liability: You are responsible for reporting rewards as taxable income (if applicable).
No Guarantees: GradeZOO is not liable for unrewarded referrals due to tracking errors or Referee actions (e.g., returns, cancellations).

8. Governing Law

Disputes arising from the Program are governed by California law and resolved per our Terms of Service.
