-VT8237 AC97 sound with Windows 98 support for Soundblaster emulation and General MIDI music

-VT6102 Rhine-II Ethernet adapter

-1 front and 2 rear USB 2.0 ports

-1 Parallel Port

-1 Serial Port

-Dedicated PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports

-Built-in PC speaker (for old DOS games)

-Due to popular demand, as of February of 2024, I have added a boot option for DOS.  When booting into DOS, SBEMU (Soundblaster Emulation) will automatically run and will configure Soundblaster support on IRQ 7.  Your mileage as far as game compatibility, both for sound and video, will vary, but games like Duke Nukem 3D and Wolfenstein 3D play fine.

3dMark 99 unfortunately does not run on any VIA C3/C7 processor (a known issue in the retro-gaming community), otherwise, that would be included.  3dMark 2000 scores were surprisingly good considering that they are more than double that of those of a HP T5710 thin client w/Radeon 7000 video chip (which benches at 1053 overall).

For comparison, this build is very roughly equivalent to a 533 MHZ Pentium III build w/Radeon 7200 Graphics.  Any game or software that either supports Windows 95 or meets the above requirements on 98 or XP should run fine on here.  Overall responsiveness, however, is much snappier thanks to the solid state hard drive.
